I want to learn more about china’s culture and how china works. Because I think that china is a rising country and their economic are growing rapidly, therefore more and more people are going there to expand their business or to work there. In a few years time china will be the pillar of Asia and they might surpass America to become the world’s strongest. But this trip we are going to Wuhan the capital province of Hubei. Although it might not be as developed and Beijing and shanghai but china government are developing there. So it will be better compare to the old Wuhan. Maybe I would like to find out what their habits are and how their daily life works. Maybe I can plan to work in china. Therefore this would be a very good chance to explore china and the mean time not wasting my holidays.

I think that I will be more interested in China’s culture and their habits. I think that this is the easiest way to find out how the country is doing. E.g. how they eat, how they talk. This will give me a rough idea of china people if next time I am going there to work or I am going to clinch a deal. I also like to observe how different people live and their habits.

Firstly, I want to learn how to communicate with the china people. Although I am also a Chinese but we might not understand their slang and the typical accents of theirs is also a problem. Their pace is also hard to grasp as they are used to talking at a very fast speed and we may not understand them. This is a very important area if you want to survive in china.

Secondly, I want to learn and about their traditional culture. As china has a very deep history and it has still more to be explored and these traditional culture might extinct anytime due to the quick urbanization of China. Therefore we must know before it is too late to do so.

Thirdly is their mindset. As we know China is getting more develop and those magnificent structures and technologies they have create are really amazing. E.g. the three gorges dam and they build their own rockets and send people the space Etc. These are really great things done by them which made the world see them in a different view. They have the never say die and don’t care what other people mindset which lead them quickly to their goals. Also how they react to things. Their mind can react very fast and their talk is also quite convincing. Lastly Is their attitude which leads them to the current china.

As we do have China international student a ngee ann polytechnic. Despite of their poor language they can also do well and excel in their modules. As we know it is not easy for them to come over to Singapore they have a different mindset from us. But it is also not easy for them as there is distraction but they can overcome them and stay focus in their studies, these are what we need and learn from them.
